The People of Grey/Bruce/Simcoe

After a month of figuring out some details, here is the first of my People of Grey/Bruce/Simcoe posts for my friends at Rrampt.

One of the things I did not consider when I agreed to take this on is that it is very much out of my comfort zone as a photographer. I prefer to lurk in the shadows to capture people in more authentic moments - I love it when people see my photos and tell me “I didn’t even know you were there.” Approaching people is not what I’m used to so I’m also trying to figure out how to best do it in order to retain some of this authenticity.

But even though this is not always easy for me (believe it or not, I consider myself to be an introvert), I enjoy a challenge and I know that the best things often come out of facing my fears.
