A recent post on a local Grey County history page inspired me to find some old photos of what most people knew as Louis' Steak House, a historically significant house on the outskirts of Owen Sound, Ontario that was demolished in 2016.  The house's most famous use was as a summer brothel that was so popular a boardwalk was built from the harbour to Hatton Hall to help the sailors get there and back.  More of its history can be found here.

The photos were taken in 2008, 2009, 2014 and 2016 and include the bricks that were supposed to be used in a new structure to acknowledge the building's importance.  But we know how that goes.  Just like how they named the new shopping area "Heritage Grove" after destroying the real Heritage Grove.
